ADP is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst – Lyric.

You will start your day with a scrum call to sync up on the sprint work and goals with your team. Most of your day will be spent continuously evaluating existing test coverage, identifying gaps, and implementing test strategies to ensure high confidence in automation and product quality. You will also advocate for necessary changes to improve the end-user experience.

In this role, you will collaborate with the development team and Product Owner to gather details on features to develop. You will use this information to build and execute product testing for ADP's web-based HR solutions, ensuring usability before deployment. This role is critical to deploying usable products.

Hybrid work model, reporting directly to our Porto Alegre Office location.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

• Agile. You understand that an agile environment requires flexibility. Sometimes the scope is not fully defined, and you will need to communicate with the Product Owner and the team to clarify details and enhance User Stories. You and the team will define the sprint goal together. Working in two-week sprints, you need to adhere to timelines. Due to time constraints and work fluidity, you may need to take a creative approach to testing, possibly starting test development in parallel with feature development.
• Create & Test. You will define test plans and scenarios and implement automated test cases for large-scale, complex applications. Your focus will be on verification and validation from both system and end-user perspectives.
• Collaborate. You will communicate and collaborate with developers and stakeholders, articulating clear reasons to persuade for product changes that benefit end users.
• Learning. You are eager to learn new coding skills and figure out solutions.
• Challenges. You will address inevitable challenges by seeking solutions proactively.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

Demonstrate advanced understanding and experience in:

• Quality Assurance / Test Engineering
• Javascript and Typescript
• Test Automation
• Writing Test Scenarios
• API Testing
• Testing Web UI and API applications
• Working with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins
• Experience with Selenium or Cucumber for UI automation
• Development experience in languages such as Javascript, Java, or C#

• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Advanced English proficiency
