Epic Games is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join the Tech team supporting Fortnite. This role includes creating and executing test plans, conducting white box testing, and ensuring top-notch user experiences. Candidates should have strong programming skills in C++, Java, and Python, along with substantial QA experience.

QUALITY ASSURANCE What We DoThe Quality Assurance team owns the testing process, risk management, and quality evaluation of all products and functions across Epic. Our team works closely with developers and production to ensure the best possible user experience for our community and customers.
What You'll DoYou will join the Tech team in support of Fortnite. QA Engineers of all levels own the tactical planning and execution of testing against all highly technical systems across Epic Games products. They create test plans, perform white box testing, create scripts, automated tests, and any other test materials needed to verify data to test the inner workings of engineering-driven systems. The QAE is versed in various types of testing techniques and can speak to which techniques are best used for specific types of testing. In practice, they will split their time between creating test plans, performing deep white box testing in support of engineering initiatives, analyzing processes for scriptable improvements, and adding to our automation test suites. They will perform regular reviews of manual tests for automation candidates and will work with manual testers and analysts to uncover areas of improvement through scriptable solutions.
