Job summary

Toradex is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Software to drive key initiatives across the Torizon software portfolio, including embedded Linux and cloud tools. You will co‑own product areas end‑to‑end, collaborating with engineering, marketing, and customer teams to deliver impactful solutions for industrial IoT.

You will report to the PM Team Lead and influence direction within a highly technical, cross‑functional environment.

Job Description

As a Senior Product Manager – Software, you will be part of the Torizon group, driving key product initiatives across Toradex’s software portfolio — from embedded Linux to cloud-based tools and services. You will co‑owner product areas with the PM Software Team end‑to‑end, from ideation to delivery, ensuring they align with the broader product vision and strategy defined by the company.

Torizon is a Linux‑based industrial IoT platform that simplifies modern iterative development, maintenance, and operation of distributed edge devices. It is a scalable full‑stack DevOps‑oriented solution, seamlessly integrating device hardware & software (including a Linux OS), development tools, cloud‑based remote updates & fleet management, for high reliability and security applications.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and customer‑facing teams to define priorities, work on end‑to‑end pipelines, and deliver impactful solutions to our customers. While reporting to the PM Team Lead, you will play a leadership role within the team by influencing direction and fostering cross‑functional alignment.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives on ownership, strategic thinking, and hands‑on execution within a highly technical and collaborative environment. You are expected to be comfortable working with AI daily.

This role involves prioritizing and executing multiple initiatives in parallel, highlighting your independence and ability to drive several product areas simultaneously.

• Work closely with the Torizon Cloud Team Lead, Product Designer, Product Security, and Front‑end Developers, focused on the SaaS portion of the Torizon Platform.
• Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to validate product direction and gather feedback.
• Translate customer and business needs into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely, high‑quality releases.
• Participate in market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of product management processes and tools.

Desired Candidate Profile

Mandatory:

• Available to work Hybrid from Toradex Office in Campinas-SP.
• Fluent English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong ownership mindset with a record of driving initiatives independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and product management methodologies.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role (3–5+ years preferred).
• An analytical and data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer value.
• Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) business models.
• Experience using AI agents, skills, and MCP to accelerate daily tasks and processes.

Nice to have

• Experience with embedded Linux, DevOps, or IoT platforms.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, OTA updates, and device management.
• Experience with developer tools, issue tracking (e.g., Jira), and analytics platforms.
• Prior experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on technical products.
• Experience working in a startup environment or early‑stage company, fast‑paced, and with a flat hierarchy
• Previous experience working with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Willing to learn:

• Deep technical aspects of Toradex software stack, including Embedded Linux, over‑the‑air updates, and related tooling.
• How Embedded Linux products fit market regulations such as the EU CRA, and how Torizon delivers solutions that simplify compliance.
• How to apply standard product frameworks to the niche market of Embedded Linux.
• Scaling product processes in a globally distributed organization.
