Job Summary

The Senior Product Manager is a member of the Technology team responsible for the successful delivery of engineering projects within the client portfolio. The role focuses on delivering large, complex development projects in partnership with cross-functional teams of strategists, designers, and developers.

Responsibilities

1. Provide the structure for project execution and encourage team collaboration for optimal results.
2. Review wireframes or designs, evaluate their complexity, and plan the work of the development team, including breaking down tasks, creating timelines, and managing backlogs.
3. Deeply understand the technical specifications for your product, including frontend architecture, CMS implementation, integrations (site search, advertising, APIs, personalization, localization, analytics), etc.
4. Utilize Agile principles, including Scrum and Kanban, to facilitate delivery: create issues (stories, tasks, bugs) based on designs and annotations.
5. Translate product roadmaps and technical architecture into actionable stories for development.
6. Maintain the backlog of Jira issues and facilitate ticket estimation.
7. Lead Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Grooming, and Demos in collaboration with client and technical leads.
8. Maintain development status reports internally and for clients.
9. Be knowledgeable about software engineering practices and the full software development lifecycle.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

1. Experience with Optimizely.
2. Experience with Agile principles, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks.
3. Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
4. Experience with CMS platforms like Contentful, Drupal, WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), or even simpler platforms like Squarespace or Wix.
5. Participation in successful delivery and deployment of enterprise-level engineering projects.
