Description

Are you looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced, innovative company? Come make history in Amazon’s Brazil team! We are looking for business savvy Sr. Product Manager to drive our payments initiatives in Brazil and create access to affordable payment methods. You will own the vision and roadmap to scale our digital payment products and work with global teams to support launches and management of new products.

The right candidate possesses a strong product / program management background, a deep understand of BR Payments and financial/credit products competitive landscape and demonstrated experience leading large projects. You will be responsible for product roadmap and development life-cycle, from working backwards from our Customers to define the vision for what is required to make the product launch and program successful in Brazil. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by the ambiguity or competing priorities to scale a business in a new geography. This means you are not only able to own high-level strategic initiatives, but also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with key local and global stakeholders to work on ongoing and upcoming initiatives;

  • Prioritize requirements, manage prioritization and trade-offs, and integration roadmap that efficiently meets need of various businesses in Brazil;

  • Customer research, identify gaps in product/experience offering, and design solutions that address unmet customer needs;

  • Create go-to-market plan for the program and new features: gather business requirements, build and deliver against the roadmap, and create & monitor meaningful KPIs.

  • Lead external partner relations: manage partner performance and customer experience, set objectives and success criteria, and drive towards operational excellence.

  • Drive product awareness and adoption: identify marketing opportunities and support the delivery of effective marketing campaigns with internal and external partners.

  • Lead the day to day operations: assess and manage risks, monitor and report on progress with actionable insights, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, and provide escalation management.

About the team

Brazil Payments is part of the International Emerging Stores Payments team and focuses on supporting the launch of new payment and financial products to our customers in Brazil.

Basic Qualifications

  • Solid Product Management experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Advanced or Fluent in English

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience as a product manager or owner

  • Experience owning technology products

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

  • Master's degree or equivalent
