AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale core infrastructure. You will manage cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, work with service mesh tech, and apply AI-native tooling to keep systems secure and performant.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years server development in Python/TypeScript, 3+ years API design, 2+ years AWS/Kubernetes, and exposure to LLMs and AI ops. Excellent communication and ownership are essential, with upper-intermediate English required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years API design and development (REST/gRPC).
• 2+ years AWS and Kubernetes with service-mesh experience (Istio/Linkerd/Cilium).
• 2+ years building advanced architectural components (service registry, streaming, caching).
• 6+ months experience with LLMs, prompt engineering or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months SDLC AI-native usage (Claude Code, Claude Cowork).
• Excellent communication and ownership mindset.
• Upper-intermediate English.

Responsibilities

• Measure, monitor, and optimize system performance, identifying bottlenecks and implementing infrastructure-level improvements.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to build and scale core infrastructure that supports rapid company growth. This person designs reliable platform services, manages cloud resources on AWS and Kubernetes, and works with service mesh technologies to keep systems performant and secure. Comfort with distributed architecture and AI-native development tooling rounds out the role.

MUST HAVES

• 4+ years of server development in Python or TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience with API design and development, including REST/gRPC.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS and Kubernetes, with experience in Service Mesh technologies such as Istio, Linkerd, Cilium, etc.
• 2+ years of experience building advanced architectural components, such as service registry, streaming, event bus, distributed caching, federated/polyglot persistence, etc.
• 6+ months of experience working with LLMs, prompt engineering, harness engineering, or AIOps tooling.
• 6+ months of SDLC AI-native usage via Claude Code, Claude Cowork, or similar.
• Excellent communication skills, the ability to learn on the fly, and a desire for ownership.
• Upper-intermediate English level.
