We’re building a Latam-based full-stack software engineering team to scale and enhance our award-winning cloud-based educational technology platform. After establishing a strong product with a fully remote U.S. team while 2xing revenue year over year for the past 3 years, we’re now looking for the inaugural elite members to build and grow our Latam team.

About You

• Versatile and hands-on doer, starter attitude
• Empathetic and humble, respectful, optimistic, capable of disagreement when needed, and taking ownership
• Ability and willingness to work cross-functionally
• Experience working with non-tech colleagues

Core Responsibilities

• Develop PHP-based applications end to end
• Optimize and refactor existing web applications
• Contribute to code reviews and collaborative problem-solving
• Implement new features and improve data integration capabilities
• Participate in architectural planning and technical roadmapping

Must Have Skills

• 3+ years building full-stack applications with PHP backend
• Experience with SQL
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work independently
• Growth-oriented approach

Nice to Have

• Modern PHP framework knowledge such as Laravel
• Component-based JS framework experience
• Educational software or SaaS platforms expertise
• Enthusiastic about learning and teaching others

What would be my career trajectory?

As a company, we have a very flat hierarchy. Your direct manager will be the VP of Engineering and his boss the Co-founder and Chief Product Officer. If you care about building experience by cultivating high-functioning teams, releasing great software, accomplishing goals, and learning new things, this is the right place for you. If you care about titles and meetings and titles, this is not the right place for you. Our belief is there will always be “the next job” so push yourself to learn and grow in the time you are here.
