A leading digital marketing agency in São Paulo is seeking an experienced Outbrain media buyer. You will own the Outbrain channel, managing campaigns from testing to scaling up to $100k daily ad spend. Ideal candidates will have a strong record in media buying, with at least one successful affiliate offer scaled recently. Competitive salary with significant profit-sharing potential for top performers. Join us to maximize profits and lead innovative campaigns!
Looking for an Outbrain media buyer who understands the creative + offer game and has recently scaled affiliate offers to $5k to $100k per day in ad spend on Outbrain (NewsBreak or other native traffic is a plus).
You will fully own Outbrain as a channel and treat it like your own business.
We currently manage around $500k per month in ad spend on Meta and want Outbrain to become a serious profit center.
Own Outbrain and 2–3 affiliate offers and scale campaigns from first test to $5k to $100k per day in profitable ad spend in the following niches: home services, insurance, refi, loans, and VSL style ecommerce offers.
Pick 1–2 core affiliate offers on Outbrain and fully own them.
Set up campaigns, tracking, and postbacks in ClickFlare.
Clean up pixels, events, UTM structures, and naming across your Outbrain account.
Build a simple weekly testing plan for headlines, thumbnails, angles, and creatives.
Consistently manage $3k to $20k per day in ad spend on Outbrain while hitting or beating agreed KPIs (payout targets, ROAS, CPL).
Have at least 2 winning offers live with stable spend and clear scaling plans.
Ship a minimum of 30 ad variations per day across headlines, images, angles, and pre-sell ideas.
Build a few winning presell pages or landers in GoHighLevel and keep them tested and updated.
Own a portfolio of offers spending $30k to $100k per day on Outbrain at healthy margins.
Have a repeatable testing and scaling system documented so another buyer could follow it.
Be the internal “channel CEO” for Outbrain and mentor junior buyers as the team grows.
Handle all technical media buying on Outbrain: ClickFlare setup, pixels, postbacks, scaling, rules, bid strategies, and budget management.
Drive creative testing with strong native images, and simple GoHighLevel landers or presells.
Write strong ad copy that fits native environments and drives high EPC.
Come up with new creative concepts, angles, and presell ideas for each offer.
In the last 12 months you have scaled at least one affiliate offer to $5k to $100k per day in spend on Outbrain or a similar native platform, with proof of results.
You have owned budgets of at least $100k per month and treated that money like your own.
You have experience in at least one of these niches: home services, insurance, loans / refi, or VSL style ecommerce.
You are a proactive problem solver who does not wait for perfect information to act.
You are comfortable talking in terms of CPL, EPC, margin, payout math, and cash flow.
You can build basic landers, edit simple creatives, and handle the “unsexy” technical work without complaining.
You care more about making more money than protecting strict life-work balance.
You are ok jumping in on weekends when there is money to be made or saved.
You figure things out even with limited instructions or support.
You ship a good version fast, then improve it. You focus on big needle movers first.
You challenge ideas directly and respectfully to get to the truth.
You give honest feedback that helps the team win long term, even when it is uncomfortable in the moment.
You learn from misses, adjust quickly, and do not repeat the same mistake twice.
You act like you own the P&L on your channel.
Competitive base salary + 10% team pre-tax profit sharing. (If you own Outbrain 100%, you'll get 10% of pre-tax net profit bonus)
Real upside to $100k-$300k+ per year for a true A player.
