Senior Manager, Quality Latin America

As the Senior Manager, Quality, Latin America on a typical day you will:

  • Lead one of the three OTIS’ Absolutes - Quality
  • Make sure global policies are fully understood and followed by all Operating Areas of the Region
  • Raising, analyzing and adjusting policies gaps vs local processes
  • Analysis/Investigation of Quality issues/deviations
  • Lead OPXL (Otis Performance Excellence) in the Region – focus in continuous improvement
  • Manage Supplier Quality – including external and intercompany suppliers
  • Be a strong Facilitator between Field (customer) needs and other HQ departments
  • Focus on root cause analysis and implementing systemic corrective and preventive actions – improve Quality mindset
  • Present Quality objectives, challenges, and opportunities with Executive Leadership
  • Support ISO’s certifications

What You Will Need to be Successful:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Quality Manager in service/manufacturing multinational companies
  • Solid experience in Quality strategy & KPIs, Functional processes, process mapping, implementing quality driven culture and governance
  • Ownership of short to mid-term (1-3 years) strategy execution and operational direction in alignment with parent/corporate organization objectives
  • Strong influence skills to collaborate with peers to raise Quality to the desired Absolute level
  • Analytical, deep problem solving and GEMBA skills
  • Supplier Quality experience to technically support Supply Chain on new sources assessments/approvals, SCAR’s and refund discussions
  • Customer focused – internal and external – Quality as a support area MUST serve other departments
  • High talent/team development abilities
  • Apply the behaviors of the pillars of culture adopted by the organization in the work routine such as Inclusion, Imagination, Collaboration, Empowerment, Empathy and Pace.

Education

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and above preferably in engineering, quality management and product/service management.
  • Know-how in Quality methodologies such as Six Sigma, PDCA, Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis and others.
  • + English and Spanish
