Overview

ADP is hiring a Senior Manager Data Scientist. You will lead a team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning engineers to bring products to market. You will work with multiple stakeholders to identify, design, develop and implement advanced AI and machine learning projects that influence the daily lives of working people, and you will provide, interpret, and predict metrics for decision-making.

You will have access to one of the largest HCM data sets and perform exploratory analysis to determine if it meets project requirements. You will contribute to making decisions that impact millions of customers. This role is part of ADP’s Generative AI initiative, focusing on practical, impactful applications of AI and pioneering innovation in the industry. The position follows a hybrid work model with an office location in Porto Alegre/RS, Brazil.

What you’ll do

• Setup, Build and Grow the Team. Collaborate with the Global Data Science and Machine Learning team to set goals and a roadmap to assemble a world-class team aligned with the company’s OKRs.
• Own and Manage Projects. Lead a team to design, implement and deploy high-performing machine learning/AI models and create API endpoints in AWS.
• Advanced Analytics & Predictive Modeling. Formulate problems, extract and analyze data from multiple systems, summarize findings, and develop visual representations with actionable recommendations; interact with developers, UX designers, product managers, and senior executives to understand requirements and demonstrate model value.
• Limitless Possibilities. Continuously learn and apply new data science techniques to create new products, services, and insights from ADP data.
• Collaboration and Communication. Work collaboratively, present findings to peers and leadership, and translate needs into solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics preferred.
• Experience in managing a global team; ability to work under pressure and understand both legacy and emerging technologies.
• Experience in AI/ML space with ability to interface with engineers and data scientists.
• Understanding of AI technologies, market dynamics, and customer needs.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with ability to translate complex concepts into actionable plans.
• Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities with a passion for developing talent.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Fluent English.
