As a Senior Lead Clinical Data Science Programmer, you will join the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organization, powered by healthcare intelligence.

You will have the opportunity to gain experience working with a large biotech company, a pioneer and industry leader in the area of antibody research, utilizing their innovative technology platform across multiple therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Infectious Disease, Cardiovascular, and Metabolic Diseases.

What you will be doing:

The role involves being a Senior Lead Clinical Data Science Programmer in Clinical Data Management, focusing on enhancing data review and cleaning processes with innovative reports. Responsibilities include creating study-specific data validation procedures, managing data sources, and ensuring efficient data platform operations. The role aims to improve data integrity, efficiency, and scalability in clinical data management.

  1. Practical experience with ETL processes, programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, and familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure, including S3 and Data Lake.
  2. Experience with clinical datasets such as EDC and non-CRF data.
  3. Strong analytical skills capable of managing large, complex datasets from research to detailed clinical information.
  4. Understanding of clinical trial processes.
  5. Passion for championing and implementing clinical data solutions.
  6. Engagement with Global Development units to understand data quality and validation needs, translating insights into business requirements.
  7. Accountability for interpreting clinical data business needs and translating them into specifications.
  8. Ability to ensure data quality and consistency across programs, documenting processes comprehensively.
  9. Development of study-specific Data Quality specifications and clinical data metrics.
  10. Preparation of study-level reports within the Clinical Data Platform.
  11. Design of clinical reports and dashboards to convey data insights effectively.
  12. Preparation of Data Model mappings and transformations to support analysis and governance.
  13. Deep understanding of modern data analytics frameworks, Big Data structures, Lakehouse architectures, and data integration techniques.
You are:
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in clinical data analysis, preferably in BioPharma.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field.
  • Fluent in English and host country language.
