Job summary

GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. is seeking a seasoned software engineer to design, develop, and operate high-scale applications across our engineering stack.

You will work on cloud-native microservices, implement CI/CD pipelines, and use infrastructure as code to deliver scalable solutions. The role requires deep experience with Java/Spring Boot, GCP/AWS/Azure, Kubernetes, and data processing tools like Dataflow/BigQuery.

Job description

• Design develop and operate high scale applications across the engineering stack
• Design develop test deploy maintain and improve software
• Apply modern software development practices including server less computing microservices architecture CICD and infrastructure as code
• Work across teams to integrate systems with existing internal systems Data Fabric and the CSA Toolset
• Participate in technology roadmap and architecture discussions to translate business requirements and vision into solutions as part of a close knit globally distributed engineering team
• Triage product or system issues and debug trace and resolve them by analyzing root causes and impacts on the network service operations and quality
• Research create and develop software applications to extend and improve Equifax solutions Manage priorities deadlines and delivery for a single project
• Collaborate on scalability matters involving data and information access and actively participate in Sprint Planning Sprint Retrospectives and other team activities
• Responsible for the design development and implementation of short and long term solutions for information technology needs through new and existing applications system architecture network systems and application infrastructure The role is often involved in modifying or adapting existing designs reviewing technology requirements and business processes and coding testing debugging and implementing software solutions These roles are typically project based and deliver technology changes within the business

Required Experience

• 5 years of software engineering experience
• 5 years of experience with GCP AWS or Azure cloud technologies
• 5 years of experience designing and developing cloud native solutions
• 5 years of experience designing and developing microservices using Java Spring Boot GCP SDKs and GKE Kubernetes
• 5 years of experience deploying and releasing software using Jenkins CICD pipelines with understanding of infrastructure as code concepts Helm Charts and Terraform builds
• Preferred Additional Qualifications
• Proactively identifies and responds to changing priorities with minimal supervision
• Experience designing and developing big data processing solutions using Dataflow Apache Beam Bigtable BigQuery PubSub GCS Composer Airflow and related technologies
• Backend experience with JavaJ2EE Spring Boot SOA microservices source code management systems such as SVN Git and GitHub and build tools such as Maven and Gradle
• Experience in Agile environments such as Scrum and XP
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and MySQL
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence and with GitHub
• Development experience with modern JDK versions version 17 or later
• Automated testing experience with JUnit Selenium LoadRunner and SoapUI
