WEX Inc. is seeking a Senior Java Software Development Engineer to join the Transaction Systems team.

The role focuses on building cloud-native applications, leveraging Java, Kafka, and caching, while delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. You will participate in code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and learn new technologies across a modern stack including Docker, Kubernetes, Redis/Valkey, and AWS.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, or related field is required.
• Experience building cloud-based infrastructure as code and scalable services.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and OO design.
• Experience designing/cache solutions in cloud, high-throughput systems.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and AWS; good logging/monitoring practice.
