Job Overview

The Senior iOS Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance iOS applications. This role requires deep expertise in Swift, a strong understanding of iOS architectures, and the ability to deliver responsive, secure, and real-time features for a global user base. You'll join a lean, remote team, collaborating closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to drive innovation and ensure seamless user experiences. Success in this role means stabilizing and enhancing the codebase, delivering high-quality features under tight deadlines, mentoring junior developers, and resolving technical debt while aligning with strategic project goals. The role is pivotal in maintaining our position as a leader in cryptocurrency trading by ensuring robust, low-latency, and secure mobile applications.

What will you do:

• Develop and maintain iOS applications Build and enhance high-performance iOS applications using Swift to support billions in trading volume
• Create responsive interfaces Design intuitive and responsive user interfaces using SwiftUI, Combine, and UIKit for seamless user experiences
• Implement secure data handling Ensure secure data processing, encryption, and real-time data handling via REST APIs and WebSockets
• Optimize performance Enhance app performance to meet the demands of low-latency trading environments
• Collaborate remotely Work with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver new features and maintain alignment with project goals
• Ensure mobile security Maintain robust mobile security and data integrity for sensitive trading operations

What we are looking for:

• Expertise in iOS development: 5+ years of professional iOS development experience with Swift, including proficiency in SwiftUI, Combine, and UIKit
• Strong security and real-time data skills: Proven experience with mobile security, encryption, secure data storage, REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time data handling
• Deep iOS knowledge: Strong understanding of iOS architectures, trends, and emerging technologies, with the ability to adapt to evolving platforms
• Effective communication and independence: Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, cross-functional team, with fluency in English
• Experience with trading: Proven ability and skills of trading, understanding how it works, and development of similar platforms in the past
