We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to act as a liaison between our operations teams and IT departments. You will understand both technical aspects of applications and operational processes, ensuring effective communication and solutions. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Liaison Role: Serve as the key contact between operations and IT, ensuring clear communication on requirements and deliverables.
2. Application Understanding: Gain in-depth knowledge of organizational applications and their operational use.
3. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with operations to translate business needs into IT specifications.
4. Process Mapping: Work with operational teams to map and improve processes through technological solutions.
5. Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Assist with technical issues, identify root causes, and coordinate resolutions.
6. Project Coordination: Support IT projects aimed at operational improvements, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
7. Training & Documentation: Provide training and maintain documentation on systems and processes.
8. Collaboration with Tech Support: Work with IT to prioritize and resolve technical incidents.
9. Continuous Improvement: Identify automation and integration opportunities to enhance operations and IT support.

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's in IT, Business Administration, or related; 5+ years in IT Infrastructure with operational exposure.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in business applications, systems, networking, databases, and cloud tech.

• Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of business processes in relevant industries like logistics or shipping.

• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent English communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze operational needs and develop technical solutions.

• Project Management: Experience managing or supporting small to medium IT projects.
