PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Update PCS (write care plans & review) and carry out weekly/monthly audits.
- Conduct staff appraisals and identify training needs.
- Develop proposals to improve the marketing of the home to maintain high occupancy.
Shift Work: 3-4 days
- Assist clients with personal care needs including bathing, washing, dressing, and undressing.
- Manage your team and oversee the floor.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records.
- Participate in internal and external activities of the home.
- Attend training courses as scheduled.
- Follow infection control procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Support relatives and friends of clients.
- Maintain client records and perform care audits.
- Attend all required training sessions.
- Coordinate with GPs, care professionals, local authorities, and other clinical entities.
- Administer medications following policy and guidelines.
- Perform any other duties as required.
KEY SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience in personal care, reliability, record keeping, and time management.
- Experience as a senior carer in the care sector or hospital environment.
- Clinical knowledge or background.
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, or studying towards a management qualification.
