Reporting to the Director of Creative and Design, the Senior Graphic Designer plays a key role in shaping compelling packaging experiences across a diverse portfolio of consumer products. This role focuses on driving innovation in packaging design—from structure and materials to branding and visual systems—ensuring each solution is functional, cost-effective, and visually distinctive.

This position requires a seasoned design professional who can seamlessly navigate concept development, brand alignment, and production-ready execution. The ideal candidate understands how packaging influences consumer perception and can translate strategic insights into resonant design solutions.

Responsibilities include:

• Strategic Brand & Design Leadership: Champion High Tide’s brands, define visual languages, and develop style guides.
• Product & Packaging Innovation: Lead creation of packaging systems balancing manufacturing feasibility, cost, and shelf appeal.
• Creative Strategy & Execution: Provide creative leadership for campaigns, retail, and product launches.
• Collaboration & Influence: Work with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure brand consistency and quality.

Requirements:

• 3-4 year Bachelor or Diploma in graphic design
• 6-10 years experience in branding, packaging, or product design, especially in CPG or lifestyle goods
• Strong portfolio in smoking accessories, cannabis-related products, or similar industries
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, familiarity with 3D workflows and print processes
• Experience leading brand design initiatives and visual storytelling
• Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate with senior stakeholders
• Understanding of regulatory, cost, and manufacturing constraints
• Passion for cannabis culture, accessory innovation, and brand building
