What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with engineers to support a variety of clients and technically challenging projects
- Pursue new clients and opportunities, including preparation of proposals and budgets
- Oversee geotechnical engineering analyses and calculations, including slope stability and foundation design
- Prepare and direct the development of written geotechnical reports
- Lead and mentor junior staff while managing project schedules and scopes of work
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 8 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience or equivalent education and experience
- Professional Engineer's License in the State of Texas or ability to obtain one
- Bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering or a related field
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced degree in civil or geological engineering or a related field
- 3 years of project management experience
- Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers
- Strong computer skills, including technical engineering software
- Nuclear experience is a plus
