ADP SBS division is hiring a Senior Frontend Developer:

In this role, you will be building the RUN product, a key Human Capital Management solution at ADP and globally. The goal is to help our customers (Small Business Companies) save time and stay compliant by providing tools to manage their employees. You will work within a scrum team to bring designs and ideas to life for new web applications integrated with backend microservices, APIs, and other systems.

Your day begins with a scrum call to sync up with your team. You will spend most of your time designing, developing, testing your code, and supporting your teammates. You will deploy your code in production using automated continuous integration and continuous deployment.

You will collaborate with product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement IT solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what a typical day looks like:

• Start each day with a scrum to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and prioritize coding tasks.
• Work in two-week sprints, meeting timelines and maintaining high coding standards. Your main responsibility is to deliver features on schedule.
• Collaborate with the entire team, including project managers, QA, and customers, to gather requirements and produce quality output.
• Continuously learn new technologies and participate in open-source communities. Asking the right questions is more important than knowing all the answers.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

• Solid experience with React.js, JavaScript, MongoDB, Bitbucket, Git, RESTful APIs, API testing tools, unit and integration testing libraries, SQL Server, and familiarity with C# .NET and Node.js is a plus.
• Drive and guide the development of frontend and backend applications.
• Lead the team to deliver optimal client experiences.
• Follow best practices in software development, SDLC, performance tuning, and share knowledge with the team.
• Be a strong technical and cultural influence.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze systems and problems, design solutions, participate in requirements gathering, and create technical documentation.
• Conduct code reviews and communicate progress effectively.
• Stay updated with industry trends and train team members on new technologies.
• Partner with PMs and UX teams to identify user research opportunities.
