APTIM Federal Services is seeking a Sr. Level Environmental Geologist to lead characterization and remediation projects within our Remediation business line. The role includes planning remedial investigations, guiding actions, mentoring staff, and delivering CERCLA reports from our Concord, CA office.

The candidate should be credentialed (GEO) with DoD/CERCLA experience and strong communication skills, ready to travel to project sites as required. OSHA HAZWOPER training is preferred.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in the environmental field.
• Licensed as a Professional Geologist is desirable, preferably in California.
• Experience supporting DoD and CERCLA-funded projects.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training with current 8-hour refresher certificate preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to travel to project sites and APTIM offices as required.
• Core competency in Microsoft Office Products.

• Support project planning and execution in accordance with established policies, procedures, and requirements including Federal and State regulations.
• Communicate field results and recommended course of action to project managers, client representatives and regulatory personnel.
• Serve as a mentor to junior and mid-level staff, work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Maintain strict adherence to company safety and quality programs.

Job Overview:

APTIM Federal Services is currently seeking a Sr. Level Environmental Geologist to support the increasing growth of project work within our Remediation business line. The preferred candidate would be a credentialled professional geologist or hydrogeologist with proven experience supporting characterization and remediation projects in a senior technical role. Primary responsibilities will include the planning and implementation of remedial investigations, remedial actions, and optimizing existing remedies. Other responsibilities will include preparation of proposals and work plans, overseeing and mentoring project staff, and completion of CERCLA reports. The successful candidate will possess the ability to communicate clearly and confidently, both written and verbally, to all project team members including client representatives, government regulators, and APTIM colleagues alike. Strong people skills with a collaborative demeanor are a must. This position will be based out of our Concord, CA office.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $135K-$190K. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
