ADP SBS RS está contratando um(a) Senior Engineer (SRE) para desenvolver soluções de Retirement Services. Você trabalhará em um time Scrum para projetar, desenvolver e testar microserviços e APIs backend, com deploy em produção via CI/CD.

O(a) profissional ideal terá inglês avançado, formação em Ciência da Computação/IT, experiência em DevOps, containers (Docker/Kubernetes) e automação, além de conhecimentos em AWS e CI/CD. O modelo de trabalho é híbrido, com escritório em Porto Alegre/RS.

Qualificações

• Graduação em Ciência da Computação, Tecnologia da Informação ou área relacionada.
• Inglês avançado exigido.
• Experiência com Scrum.
• Capacidade de analisar e resolver problemas em sistemas, redes, software e APIs.
• Conhecimento de controle de versão (Git/Bitbucket).
• Experiência com DevOps (Azure DevOps/Jenkins) e automação.

Responsabilidades

• Colaborar com equipes de R&D para manter a estabilidade de produtos e aplicações.
• Construir software para melhorar DevOps, ITOps e processos de suporte, com foco em infraestrutura como código e PaaS.
• Realizar deploys seguros de artefatos de software em ambientes Development, Staging e Production.
• Monitorar disponibilidade, latência e saúde geral dos serviços em produção.
• Aprimorar a confiabilidade e velocidade com automação e evolução de sistemas.
• Criar/manter planos de recover de desastres em staging e produção.
• Analisar problemas de sistema e gerenciar recuperações para restauração rápida.
• Manter conhecimento sobre tecnologia atual e ferramentas de monitoramento.

ADP SBS RS division is hiring aSenior Engineer (SRE)

In this role, you will build ADP’s Retirement Services solutions to help our customers save time, stay compliant, offer and manage retirement plans to their employees. You will work within a Scrum team to bring the designs and ideas to life for new backend microservices, APIs and other systems.

You will start your day on a scrum call to sync up the sprint work and goal with your team. You will spend most of your day designing, developing and testing your code and supporting your team members. You will be able to deploy your code in production using automated continuous integration and continuous deployment.

You will work with product managers, analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, test, and implement information technology solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work with R&D teams to understand the standards of Product Development and recommend changes towards increased stability of the products and applications;
• Building software to improve DevOps, ITOps, and support processes which support the “everything” as code model such as “Infrastructure as code”, Platform as a service, etc;
• Perform safe reliable deployments of all appropriate software artifacts into various systems from Development, Staging to Production;
• Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health;
• Scale systems sustainably through mechanisms like automation and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity;
• Create / Maintain plan for disaster recovery in the staging and production environments;
• Analyze system problems including root cause determination and manage any needed recovery process to ensure a quick restoration of service without loss of data;
• Maintains a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems;
• Able to understand RESTful services, even using APIs to help towards automation goals;
• Maintain network and system security, understand security protocols, certificate management.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Advanced English proficiency;
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• Experience working under a Scrum methodology;
• Ability to analyze and resolve problems in systems, networks, software, and APIs; understanding where all sources of information can come from;
• Understanding of source/version control such as GIT or BitBucket;
• DevOps processes and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins;
• Involvement with containerization, such as Docker or Kubernetes;
• CI/CD implementation expertise;
• Good knowledge on cloud native applications (preferable AWS);
• Experience with IT automation in general. Using tools like Ansible, coding with programming languages like Python, Groovy, PowerShell or Bash scripts;
• Windows and Linux OS knowledge preferred;
• Use of monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace or similar;
• Understanding Microsoft suite of development tools is a plus, including Visual Studio, IIS, MS SQL Server, .NET.
