Job summary

Micron is seeking a NAND Reliability Product Engineer to define, evaluate, and safeguard the reliability of NAND Flash products. You will work hands‑on with large‑scale data analysis, electrical failure analysis, and cross‑functional teams to ensure robust product reliability and prevent customer escapes.

You will own reliability test flows and DPM/intrinsic risk assessment, collaborating with Fab, NAND Technology, Design, and Quality teams to ship high‑quality end products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge in Semiconductor Reliability, NAND Technology, and Electrical Failure Analysis.
• Understanding of Design, Device Physics, Circuits, Process.
• Strong statistical analysis, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with AI tools, LLMs, data analysis tools (Python, JMP, Tableau).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Team player and self driven.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement NAND Flash reliability test flows to assess product reliability performance.
• Perform high‑volume statistical data analysis to evaluate reliability risks and trends.
• Drive electrical failure analysis, including advanced characterization to identify root causes.
• Develop short‑term countermeasures applying knowledge of circuits, device physics, and process engineering.
• Collaborate with Fab, NAND Technology, NAND Design, Product Development, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams.
• Integrate AI‑assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements.
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and AI literacy to use AI tools responsibly for research, analysis, and problem‑solving.
• Support customer inquiries and provide technical insights related to product reliability.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance the overall reliability program and influence future development.

As a NAND Reliability Product Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, evaluating, and safeguarding the Extrinsic/Intrinsic reliability of Micron’s NAND Flash products. You will work hands‑on with large‑scale data analysis, electrical failure analysis, and cross‑functional teams to ensure robust product reliability and prevent escapes to customers.

This role offers deep technical ownership at the intersection of device physics, circuits, process technology, and product engineering, with strong visibility across development and manufacturing organizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement NAND Flash reliability test flows to assess product reliability performance and prevent extrinsic/intrinsic reliability escapes.
• Perform high‑volume statistical data analysis to evaluate NAND DPM/ intrinsic reliability risks and trends.
• Drive electrical failure analysis, including advance characterization, to identify root causes and solution spaces.
• Develop short‑term countermeasures such as targeted stresses and screens, applying knowledge of digital/analog circuits, device physics, and process engineering.
• Qualify the product with innovative control measures to provide best in Class DPM and Cell reliability.
• Collaborate closely with Fab, NAND Technology, NAND Design, Product Development, System Development, and Quality/Reliability teams to develop solutions and enable shipment of high‑quality end products.
• Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
• Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
• Ability to apply baseline digital fluency androle‑appropriate AIliteracy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.
• Support customer inquiries and provide technical insights related to product reliability.
