The role combines ownership of a rapidly growing business unit with the responsibility of leading the development of innovative products and capabilities from concept through commercialization.

As a statutory officer of a regulated financial institution, this leader will serve as a member of the Visa Conecta Steering Committee and will maintain responsibilities before the Central Bank of Brazil, ensuring that business growth, product innovation, governance, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance evolve in a balanced and sustainable manner.

The ideal candidate will combine entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen, exceptional product leadership, executive stakeholder management, and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a complex and highly regulated environment.

  • Develop and execute multi-year growth plans aligned to Visa's non-card strategy in Brazil.
  • Build investment cases and secure organizational support for strategic initiatives.
  • Establish key performance indicators covering financial, operational, product, commercial, and client outcomes.
  • Ensure Visa Conecta becomes a scalable and sustainable business platform that contributes materially to Visa's future growth objectives.
Product Leadership

  • Define and prioritize product strategy, roadmap, and investments.
  • Lead the development of new use cases and products from concept to commercialization.
  • Balance client demand, regulatory requirements, platform scalability, and long-term strategic goals.
  • Ensure world-class product management practices across discovery, prioritization, execution, and launch.
  • Maintain strong awareness of competitive, regulatory, and technology developments impacting the future of Open Finance and payment innovation.
  • Drive the evolution of the platform across Open Finance connectivity, payment initiation, developer experience, merchant capabilities, and new ecosystem services.

  • Serve as the executive escalation point for major strategic decisions and delivery challenges.
Commercialization & Go-to-Market
  • Lead commercialization strategy, pricing framework and market adoption initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Client teams to accelerate pipeline conversion and client onboarding.
  • Ensure readiness of product positioning, value propositions, client engagement materials, and sales enablement assets.
  • Drive market awareness and thought leadership for Visa Conecta.
Regulatory Governance & Corporate Directorship
  • Serve as a Statutory Director of Visa Conecta and fulfill all responsibilities associated with the governance of a regulated financial entity.
  • Represent Visa Conecta before applicable regulatory authorities, including the Central Bank of Brazil, when required.
