Job Duties and Qualifications

Design, test, and document FPGA/SoC solutions for multiple subsystems in a Halliburton wireline tool under development. Collaborate with teams in the US and Singapore while working closely with Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Project Management at Halliburton Technology Center in Brazil (HBTC).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Control Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s/Ph.D. preferred).

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience developing solutions with FPGAs/SoCs on multiple platforms.
• Deep knowledge of hardware description languages for FPGAs (VHDL, Verilog, etc.).
• Experience in signal integrity analysis using lab test equipment/simulation tools, and performing logic/timing analysis.
• Experience with digital electronics development/testing applied to embedded systems in harsh environments (oil & gas, aerospace, defense applications, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to look ahead at hardware validation requirements, and develop/execute test plans and test setups, utilizing both hardware and firmware debugging tools.
• General knowledge of data acquisition systems, signal processing, and feedback control.
• Experience with digital communication (MIL-STD-1553, RS-485, CAN, SPI, I²C, etc.).
• Timely document technical reports.
• Strong problem-solving, innovation, teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
