FullStack is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer (Databricks) to join our talent network for flexible, project-based development work with U.S. clients. You will integrate into client teams and work alongside designers and engineers daily.

Responsibilities include optimizing Databricks on AWS, implementing IaC with Terraform, and building scalable data platforms using Python and SQL in a robust CI/CD environment.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Platform or DevOps.
• Advanced English is required.
• Four-year college degree is required.
• Extensive experience with Databricks on AWS in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience with Terraform and IaC for cloud automation.
• Experience automating Databricks jobs, clusters, and endpoints via REST APIs and IaC.
• Strong GitHub Actions workflows and reusable CI/CD frameworks across repos.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Spark and distributed data processing.
• Experience with code quality and security checks (SQLFluff, PyLint, GitHub Actions).
• Experience setting SDLC guardrails, deployment controls, and secret management.
• Hands-on Databricks Unity Catalog management and access controls.
• Understanding AWS IAM, Databricks RBAC, identity providers, least privilege.

You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps Engineering.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Extensive experience administering and optimizing Databricks on AWS in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code for cloud infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on experience automating Databricks jobs, clusters, and serving endpoints using REST APIs and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining GitHub Actions workflows and reusable CI/CD frameworks across multiple repositories.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with a solid understanding of data engineering workflows.
• Strong understanding of Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
• Experience implementing automated code quality and security checks using tools such as SQLFluff, PyLint, and GitHub Actions.
• Proven experience establishing SDLC guardrails, branch protection, code ownership, approval workflows, deployment controls, and secure secret management.
• Hands-on experience managing Databricks Unity Catalog, including access controls and data lineage.
• Strong understanding of AWS IAM, Databricks RBAC, identity providers, and least-privilege access principles.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for cloud and data platforms.
• Experience designing scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient multi-environment data platform architectures.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and modern data engineering platforms is a plus.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.

We’re seeking engineers who are AI-enthusiastic in their workflow. Professional experience or personal project work with the following is a significant plus:

• Cursor, Windsurf, or Google Antigravity.
• Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, or Copilot CLI.
