Job Title: Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and infrastructure automation. You’ll help drive the creation of a self-service infrastructure platform that supports both Kubernetes and traditional VM environments, enabling seamless deployment workflows across our hybrid infrastructure. You will work closely with the DevOps Architect and Infrastructure Architect to implement automation solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both Kubernetes platform and VM-based workloads using GitOps-first principles.
2. Develop reusable pipeline templates that integrate with Terraform, Ansible, FluxCD, Helm, and policy engines.
3. Automate VM platform lifecycle management across hybrid infrastructure.
4. Create and maintain observability into CI/CD performance, reliability, and policy compliance.
5. Contribute to internal documentation and onboarding materials that promote adoption of infrastructure automation standards.
6. Implement network automation using Ansible, Python, and Perl for configuration management.
7. Leverage modern CI/CD platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Tekton.
8. Apply strong knowledge of GitOps principles, infrastructure automation, and container build pipelines.
9. Utilize infrastructure provisioning tools like Terraform, Crossplane, Ansible, and cloud-native policy frameworks.
10. Proficiently use Bash, Python, or other scripting languages for automation and tooling.
11. Demonstrate experience with network automation tooling such as Ansible, Python, and Perl for configuration management.
12. Work effectively across platform, security, and application teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in DevOps-related tools (e.g., Terraform Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with multi-tenant environments and secure workload delivery across hybrid infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes platform automation, network automation frameworks, and VM orchestration tools in private cloud infrastructure.
