99x seeks an experienced Lead Software Architect to drive the architecture and development of complex software systems in Brazil. You will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams, document designs, and guide cloud-native migrations on AWS using serverless and microservices.

Strong leadership and communication are required to ensure high-quality delivery. You will mentor engineers, enforce coding standards, and stay current with new technologies to deliver scalable, secure solutions

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience in software development with strong architecture skills.
• Expertise in NodeJS/TypeScript and modern cloud architectures on AWS.
• Experience migrating monoliths to cloud-native, serverless and containerized solutions.
• Proficient with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with GraphQL and API design.
• Strong communication and collaboration across stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and documenting architecture decisions.

• Lead the architectural design and development of complex software systems and infrastructure solutions.
• Directly collaborate with customers and development teams to understand their needs and provide technical expertise.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, system designs, and implementation plans.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance system performance, security, and scalability.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, making strategic decisions to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in NodeJS/Typescript
• 5+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and coding standards.
• Experience building and modernizing solutions on AWS, including migrating legacy/monolithic applications to cloud-native architectures using TypeScript, serverless technologies (AWS Lambda), containers, and Amazon S3. AWS certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity on both SQL and NoSQL database systems
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with API design, integration patterns, and microservices architecture.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and teamwork abilities
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills to guide development teams and drive architectural decisions.

• Experience working in Agile environments and applying Agile principles to software development.
