CI&T is seeking a Data & Tech Lead to steer a strategic project centralizing and transforming Supply Chain data for a major CPG client. You will guide the data team technically, shape architecture, and align business needs with data and engineering decisions.

The role focuses on building a centralized, scalable data platform, integrating Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel, SharePoint, and legacy systems for reliable KPI reporting.

Qualificações

• Extensive experience in data engineering and data architecture.
• Proven track record leading data teams and projects.
• Strong design of data pipelines and multi-source integrations.
• Knowledge of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Expertise with SQL Server and SQL; Python for data processing.
• Hands-on with Databricks and Azure; data modeling and semantic models.
• Experience with Power BI and strong English communication.

We are looking for a Data & Tech Lead to provide technical leadership for a strategic project focused on centralizing and transforming Supply Chain data for a major CPG company.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the data team from a technical perspective, contributing to solution and architecture design, guiding technical decisions, and working closely with the client to connect business needs, data, architecture, and engineering.

The project aims to transform a distributed data environment involving Power Apps, Power Automate, Excel, SharePoint, and legacy systems into a centralized, reliable, and scalable data platform to support business operations and key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to the Data Engineering team, guiding technical decisions and ensuring high-quality deliveries;

• Define and evolve the data architecture of the solution;

• Design strategies for data ingestion, integration, and transformation from multiple sources;

• Lead the migration of data from SharePoint to SQL Server;

• Define and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold);

• Design transactional and analytical layers to consolidate data across different Supply Chain domains;

• Lead the development and evolution of semantic models and Power BI solutions;

• Ensure best practices for data quality, performance, governance, and scalability;

• Work directly with the client to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions;

• Act as a bridge between business, architecture, data, and development teams;

• Provide technical guidance to Data Developers and contribute to the team's technical growth.

Requirements

• Solid experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture;

• Proven experience providing technical leadership for data teams;

• Strong experience designing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and multi-source data integrations;

• Knowledge of Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, and Gold);

• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and SQL;

• Hands-on experience with Python for data engineering and processing;

• Practical experience with Databricks and Azure;

• Knowledge of data modeling and semantic models;

• Experience with Power BI;

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;

• Advanced English proficiency for communication in a corporate and international environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Apps and Power Automate;

• Knowledge of SAP and SAP data integration;

• Experience or knowledge of Supply Chain processes;

• Spanish proficiency.
