Volvo Group is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for its DTO unit in Curitiba (BR). You will help move a SAS-based legacy solution to a modern Azure data platform, working in an agile team to deliver data products and AI solutions for global users.

What you will do

At Digital Technology & Operations you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transportindustry and society at large.
Join our agile product team focusing on creating business value through digital products. You will contributeour diverse and dynamic team, where you'll collaborate with experts across various disciplines to deliver end-to-end data solutions and AI products for users across the globe.

The purpose is the move a legacy solution based on SAS into our new Data platform in Microsoft Azure. The project is split into different initiatives and developed with agile approach.

You will be part ofa large team worldwide (Brazil, Sweden, France) and support the data engineering team in Brazil and should be able to understand the stakeholders needs and translate into technical solutions.

Must have

• Solely implemented data engineering pipelines for data processing, data transformation
• Set up Azure DevOps in project from start till end, with strong focus on configurations, setting up pipelines, releases, deployments, hotfixes
• Actively engaged in Databricks Environment
• Coding skills in Sql, Python, Pyspark, Scripts
• Working experience with Azure DataFactory, Databricks Workflows, Clusters, Azure Data Flows, Azure Active Directory
• Have worked in different BI projects with good data modeling background - Experience in BI projects: good business understanding and data modeling
• Working experience with Git, DevOps
• Experience to handle multiple projects in parallel

Good to have

• Must be able to upskill the team with hand-on sessions
• Good to have worked with enterprise integration patterns, data sharing between on-prem and cloud apps
• Scripting experience (shell scripts)
• PowerBI background
