As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Customer Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for guiding AWS customers through their multi-year journey to the cloud. In this highly visible role, you will ensure that all AWS teams collaborate effectively to deliver customer outcomes.

You will be a key partner to our customers, leveraging your experience with large-scale cloud transformations to assist them through their AWS adoption stages. Your role includes guiding customers on operational, educational, and governance aspects of a successful AWS cloud journey.

You will interact with customer and AWS leadership, fostering collaboration between core account groups (Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, Professional Services), product/engineering teams, and customer teams. Your responsibilities include planning and supporting workload migrations, translating strategic initiatives into actionable steps, and managing reporting and tracking functions. You will oversee education plans, roadmaps for business outcomes, Executive Briefing Sessions, go-live events, and transitions, all critical to customer success.

Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, be detail-oriented, possess excellent problem-solving skills, and be effective communicators at both executive and team levels. You should be capable of leading virtual teams, gaining stakeholder buy-in, and influencing decisions with your enterprise cloud experience and operational expertise. Your role includes evangelizing AWS services and encouraging customer adoption, driven by a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences and driving innovation during their migration to AWS.

Minimum requirements include:

  1. 5+ years of leading large-scale, technical or engineering programs with a record of thought leadership and successful completion.
  2. 2+ years of customer-facing experience engaging with executives, technologists, or partners to solve business problems using advanced technologies.
  3. Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, math, business, or equivalent.
  4. Experience leading technical and non-technical transformation projects across broad functional teams.
  5. PMP, SCRUM/Agile, or SAFe certification.
  6. Experience implementing cloud services, including migrations and modernization projects.
