Senior Controller for Business Area Controlling - Maintenance & Cloud LAC SOUTH (LAC)

Purpose and Objectives

The Business Area Controlling Maintenance & Cloud team manages SAP’s Cloud & Maintenance revenue across six regions, including EMEA North/South, MEE, APJ, NA, and LAC. The team implements planning models and conducts forecast and actual analyses. We seek a Senior Controller to support and enhance our regional control functions, especially for the LAC South Market Unit, contributing significantly to SAP’s revenue management.

Expectations and Tasks

• Support revenue controlling for Maintenance & Cloud in LAC South, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• Forecast Support & Cloud Revenue at the MU level, collaborating with regional/global teams and finance functions.
• Enhance controlling models and processes related to Maintenance and Cloud services.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders, providing analysis and reports to top management.
• Act as a strategic advisor on financial topics, integrating business insights and trends.
• Coordinate with global teams on policy impacts and forecast deliverables.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation in Maintenance & Cloud engagement and processes.

Education, Skills, and Competencies

Required Skills

• Degree in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting; MBA/ACA preferred.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills.
• Business proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Background in controlling, revenue recognition, accounting, or audit.
• Proactive, results-oriented, independent work style.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP BW, and analytics tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze ERP & RAR systems and improve business processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP systems and processes.
• Knowledge of decentralized controlling environments.
• Proven track record in driving business transformation.
• Familiarity with Maintenance Business Models.

Work Experience

• At least 4-5 years in controlling or accounting roles, preferably at regional level, with some knowledge of maintenance revenue models.
