FTI Consulting Brazil seeks a Senior Consultant to lead day-to-day financial activities within restructuring and transaction advisory engagements for domestic and multinational clients.

You will apply accounting, finance, and analytics to model complex scenarios, perform QoE and cash-flow analyses, and mentor junior team members while coordinating with senior management.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• 3+ years of Post-graduate experience in public accounting, consulting, or professional services.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day financial activities of restructuring and/or transaction advisory engagements.
• Apply finance, accounting, and analytical skills to client situations and practice disciplines.
• Review financial statements and perform quality of earnings/cash-flow analysis.
• Prepare and review complex financial projections to model business plans and transactions.
• Assess business plans, cash flows, financial models, and analyze large data sets for restructuring plans.
• Conduct financial due diligence and financial analysis of clients and target companies.
• Understand all aspects of the client's business including operational/financial performance.
• Draft written reports and presentations on project scope and findings.
• Collaborate with client senior management and legal/finance experts on engagements.
• Manage the engagement team and provide coaching to junior members.

About The Role

In FTI Consulting Corporate Finance segment, we focus on our clients strategic, operational, financial, and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders. What You'll Do

The Senior Consultant will work with clients in domestic and multinational companies across various and diverse industries. Some of the job responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial activities of restructuring and/or transaction advisory engagements.
• Apply business, accounting, finance and analytical skills to various client situations and practice disciplines.
• Review financial statements and perform quality of earnings/cash-flow analysis.
• Prepare and/or review complex financial projections to model business plans, processes and/or transactions.
• Assess business plans, cash flows, financial models, and analyze large amounts of data associated with restructuring plans.
• Conduct financial due diligence and financial analysis of clients and potential target companies.
• Understand all aspects of the client's business including review of operational and financial performance.
• Draft written reports and/or presentations on the project scope, findings and/or results of activities.
• Work with the client's senior management, restructuring / legal / finance experts on work engagements.
• Manage the engagement team and provide coaching to junior team members.

Basic Qualifications

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.
• 3+ years of relevant post-graduate professional work experience in public accounting, consulting, or other professional services environments.
• Oral and written fluency in English and Portuguese.
• Ability to travel to clients and FTI offices.

Preferred Qualifications

• CRC/CPA preferred
• Treasury experience
• Strong interest in finance with an understanding of financial statements, corporate functions, and treasury operations
• Advanced Excel modeling, PowerPoint, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including professional report writing
• Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-changing, client-focused professional services environment
