Qualificações

About the Role

Operational validation of network topologies, routing flow, network changes, and failure impacts.

Create, test, and maintain reusable code (Python/Ansible scripts, APIs) designed to deploy and configure network elements, features, and services on backbone and shared infrastructure based on input from engineering and operational teams.

Study and develop migration plans to implement target topology and/or design.

Coordinate and activate managed customer backbones IP/SDN changes:

• Understand all technical details for the change, topology, and traffic flow.
• Notify customers if requests are out of configuration guidelines and validate scheduling and impact.

Track and report all received changes.

Create detailed and clear Network Change Guidelines for Network Operations to facilitate smooth implementation of changes through a combination of automated and manual steps.

Proactively audit network configuration quality.

Own network leveling, ensure compliance with security rules, and minimize security weaknesses.

Provide internal support and presentations on automation and network data analytics.

Provide weekly activity and performance reports to management.

Promote and mentor automation and network-related skills within the team.

Maintain a thorough understanding of corporate tools, systems, and processes necessary for quality provisioning and change management.

Serve as Technical Lead on projects involving edge technologies in the relevant area of expertise.

About You

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in organizations within the Telecom or IT/Software industry.

Experience with Python and/or Ansible in IT/networking environments.

Professional Skills

Cisco CCNP or Juniper JNCIP certification

Red Hat Ansible

Backbone or Service Provider Juniper and Cisco configuration expertise

Python programming

Git and Gitlab

Linux System Administration

OpenStack and Contrail experience

Kubernetes and Rancher experience
