BairesDev is seeking a Senior BI Engineer to own the BI lifecycle, building robust ETL/ELT pipelines in Python and delivering polished Power BI dashboards. You will model data using star/snowflake schemas and craft semantic layers across the Power BI/Fabric stack.

Strong SQL, DAX, and CI/CD experience are essential for reliable, scalable reporting. The role is 100% remote, with opportunities to work across global teams and impact key business KPIs.

• 5+ years of experience in BI or data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python for ETL/ELT, including Delta Lake, PySpark, pandas, and REST API integrations.
• Experience with data modeling, including Star/Snowflake schemas and semantic layer design in Power BI/Fabric.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Strong DAX skills, including complex measures, KPIs, and calculated columns.
• Advanced SQL skills with SQL Server or similar platforms.

Senior BI Engineer at BairesDev

In this role, you'll build ETL/ELT pipelines in Python that feed well-structured data models, powering the semantic layer behind meaningful business intelligence. Working across data modeling and Power BI, you'll ensure that KPIs and metrics reflect the underlying data accurately, from pipeline to dashboard. What You'll Do
