Jobtailor in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, seeks a senior backend engineer to design and migrate microservices. You will ensure real-time handshakes with external providers, maintain strict idempotency, and build resilient systems using circuit breakers and high-throughput messaging.

The role focuses on migrating legacy PHP flows to a modern Go stack while preserving data integrity across casino and sportsbook services.

Responsabilidades

• Design, optimize, and maintain microservices for real-time handshakes between providers and internal APIs.
• Ensure absolute idempotency to prevent duplicate processing of balances or winnings payloads.
• Implement resilience patterns, including Circuit Breakers and high-throughput messaging.
• Lead migration of transactional flows from PHP monoliths to Go architecture using the Strangler Fig pattern.
• Support high-performance operation of the platform across casino and sportsbook flows.

• Design, optimize, and maintain microservices responsible for real-time handshakes between external providers and the platform's internal APIs
• Ensure absolute idempotency in the wallet, eliminating the risk of duplicate processing of balances or winnings payloads
• Implement advanced resilience patterns, including Circuit Breakers, high-throughput messaging buses, and automatic balance fallback
• Lead the migration and extraction of transactional flows from the legacy PHP ecosystem to the new Go (Golang) architecture, using the Strangler Fig Pattern to ensure zero downtime and data integrity
• Support the high-performance operation of the Cometa Gaming platform across high-volume Casino and Sportsbook flows

Requirements

• Strong, hands-on knowledge of the PHP ecosystem (Laravel) for reading and extracting business rules from monoliths, combined with expertise in Go (Golang)
• Advanced experience with asynchronous processing and event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies)
• Expertise in concurrency management, locks, and database optimization (MySQL / Aurora) to prevent race conditions in player balances
• Proven track record in legacy system migration strategies and complex architecture refactoring, while maintaining backward compatibility and data integrity
• Bachelor's degree
• English proficiency
