As a member of the Backend Engineering Global team, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic and integration of applications. This role focuses on developing robust, scalable, and efficient backend systems and ensuring smooth integration with internal and external services. The engineer will work closely with front-end developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable solutions.

Responsibilities :

1. Leverage industry and organizational standards, patterns, frameworks, and best practices to support day-to-day operations that enable the fulfillment of business strategies.
2. Create, govern, and continuously improve automation frameworks and scripts for company-wide solutions impacting multiple zones.
3. Provide technical design and delivery support for top priority initiatives, while governing, influencing, and approving all other initiatives.
4. Create, maintain, and promote the use of a repository for technical design artifacts across the entire ABI Solutions community.
5. Support and guide the company on technical design and standards.
6. Ensure solutions are aligned with enterprise standards (Architecture, Operations, Infrastructure) and of high quality, maintaining attributes such as performance, supportability, security, usability, and reliability.
7. Prototype new solutions to test and validate the technical design of new products and ideas.

Skills and qualifications :

1. Strong experience with Integration / Backend Technologies and scripting languages.
2. Experience developing and supporting production-quality tools and services for internal teams (engineer, data, etc.), including database management, system monitoring, and secrets management.
3. Service-oriented architecture knowledge.
4. Java, Spring, Webservices expertise.
5. MuleSoft experience.
6. Proficiency with Python frameworks and libraries.
7. Object-oriented programming skills.
8. Experience with DevOps delivery pipelines, source code management, and CI/CD methodologies.
9. Advanced proficiency in English.
10. Experience with observability tools like Datadog or Open Telemetry solutions.
11. SAP Integration solutions knowledge.
