We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with Golang experience. This remote position involves managing various backend platform areas, including API integrations with third-party vendors and partners. You will work with our international teams to develop a robust digital wallet, enabling seamless user transactions and employer linking.

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into technical solutions, lead engineering efforts to meet targets.
• Design and implement reliable systems within a distributed micro-services architecture.
• Build and maintain integrations with third-party vendors.
• Design and implement high-availability RESTful APIs for web and mobile apps.
• Create reusable code and libraries to foster collaboration and scalability.
• Enforce observability with logging, metrics, and alerting systems.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Monitor systems for performance and scalability improvements.
• Collaborate across teams to align priorities and requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proficiency in Go/Golang, Java, Python, or C++.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), Docker, Kubernetes.
