Responsibilities (Text Only)
  1. Product Advocacy: Acts as a primary spokesperson and product evangelist for the business, including products within the Product Manager-owned portfolio. Uses product, industry, market, and competitive knowledge, along with technical expertise, to develop localized strategies, position value propositions, and tailor messaging for internal (sales, marketing) and external audiences (press, analysts, partners, user community, customers). Provides guidance to sales (e.g., interpretation of propensity models) and shares expertise to support partners.
  2. Business Management: Develops and drives business strategies, tracks effectiveness of plans, and ensures sustainable growth. Accountable for scorecard metrics and KPIs across products/services. Leads alignment with key stakeholders across the organization, leveraging portfolio data to inform marketing and business decisions. Engages regularly with corporate teams to execute planning, gather feedback, and improve field performance. Shares data-driven insights on performance and trends, and adjusts strategies based on business health and customer/partner feedback.
  3. Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy, Planning, and Delivery: Creates and coordinates GTM plans across sales, marketing, consulting, customer success, and partners, supporting a unified Microsoft approach. Collaborates with partners to enable and recruit channels, defines KPIs, and aligns investments to growth opportunities. Develops competitive strategies to increase market share and manages stakeholder engagement to execute growth plans.
  4. Field Enablement: Partners with sales to develop and implement sales programs, ensuring team readiness. Coordinates with finance and marketing teams to align efforts with business results. Provides leadership and resources to train and prepare teams and partners, activating the ecosystem to achieve results. Identifies and addresses failure points proactively.
  5. Business Development: Supports the identification and pursuit of new growth opportunities across products/services. Uses knowledge of revenue targets and organizational capabilities to develop strategic initiatives. Builds relationships with stakeholders to operationalize strategies, implement solutions, and increase market share for Microsoft and partners.
  6. Specialty Responsibilities: Coordinates between engineering, sales, and product teams for large or unique hardware and capacity needs. Manages transition plans between products to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications (Text Only)
  1. Minimum Qualifications: 8+ years in marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, or related fields; 5+ years managing a product/solution portfolio and driving demand within complex organizations.
  2. Preferred Qualifications: 8+ years in relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; experience removing blockers to accelerate sales; excellent communication skills across all levels; knowledge of Microsoft Cloud or other public cloud platforms; understanding of enterprise solutions, cloud migration, and partner ecosystems.
