KSTACK is seeking a Senior Application Developer to partner with product owners and cross‑functional teams to analyze, define, and implement applications that drive transformation and value for users. The role focuses on delivering high‑performance HVAC‑related web applications with leadership across the SDLC.

You will work on a modern stack including .NET/.NET Core, Angular, Oracle, AWS, and AI enhancements, while ensuring security, accessibility, and scalable solutions across multiple systems.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional programming experience.
• 5+ years of web application development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with C# or another object‑oriented programming language.
• Hands‑on experience with .NET microservices architecture.
• Experience with database management across SQL and NoSQL databases.

About the Role

As a Senior Application Developer, you will partner with business Product Owners, field sales teams, back-office functional teams, and program sponsors to analyze, define, and implement applications that drive transformation and deliver meaningful value to users.

You will support a modern web-based application designed to deliver high-performance building automation system designs and documentation for commercial buildings. The platform supports multiple HVAC applications, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), Chilled Water Plant Systems, Heating Plant Systems, Dedicated Outdoor Air Systems (DOAS), Heating-to-Cooling Systems, Variable Air Volume (VAV) Systems, VRF, terminal units, and other HVAC solutions.

This role will provide technical leadership in the delivery and ongoing evolution of applications and tools used across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Lead application enhancements, maintenance, and support for assigned systems, including security and accessibility requirements.
• Partner with business users to evaluate, select, and implement third‑party software solutions.
• Understand business processes and requirements, translate them into application and technical requirements, and develop solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance the customer experience, and support business growth and retention.
• Manage projects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ensure software solutions are delivered on time, within budget, and according to defined requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with external vendors and support teams to resolve technical and application‑related issues.
• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot hardware and software issues using appropriate testing tools and techniques, while supporting overall system capacity management.
• Define system scope and objectives through research, requirements gathering, and analysis of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned applications and systems.
• Communicate effectively with business users and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Provide Level 2 support and technical expertise to help desk and support teams.
• Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed team members, users, and customers.
• Identify and manage risks associated with program implementation and develop appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong collaboration across teams.
• Mentor and support the development of less‑experienced developers.
• Travel occasionally as business needs require.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional programming experience.
• 5+ years of web application development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with C# or another object‑oriented programming language.
• Hands‑on experience with .NET microservices architecture.
• Experience with database management across SQL and NoSQL databases.

Engagement Model

This opportunity will follow an initial three‑month assignment model, with the expectation of subsequent conversion to a direct internal position.
