SITA in Brazil is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to perform a range of financial activities, deliver management reports, and provide ongoing analytical support to leadership. The role collaborates daily with Head office in Europe and the financial shared centers to ensure accurate, timely close.

Responsibilities include monthly closures, tax coordination, audits, reconciliations, and comprehensive financial reporting using Oracle and Protheus ERP.

Qualificações

• University Degree in Accounting and Finance
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an active accounting environment
• Proficiency in spoken and written English (B2) and Portuguese
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas)
• Experience using ERP platforms (Oracle, Protheus)
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail

• Prepares and maintains accounting reconciliations across GAAP and statutory standards
• Prepare census reports (e.g. IBGE) and others per local legislation
• Coordinate with external providers and internal approvers on Corporate Income Tax preparation
• Prepare accounting information for external audits (tax/audit)
• Local AP reconciliations (payroll, taxes) and treasury bank reconciliations

About The Role & Team

As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for completing a range of financial activities and tasks resulting in the presentation of financial and management reports. These activities will include analytical support to management and delivering key analysis of financial and operational performance on a continuous basis and the review and interpretation of transactions and events in order to assist the business in making sound commercial and economic decisions

What You Will Do

• Daily cooperation with Head office in Europe and financial shared center accounting teams


• End to end accounting keeping


• Review and reconcile the monthly local books suspense account, balance sheet accounts and ensure accounts are clean with justifiable balances,


• Prepare local books month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting for areas of responsibility including delivering explanations on all balances and ensure follow-up on outstanding balances taking corrective action in the following month,


• Prepares and maintains accounting reconciliations (Drive accounting GAAPs between corporate and statutory accounting standards, if any.),


• Prepare census reports (e.g. IBGE), and others applicable according to local legislation,


• Cooperate with external provider and internal approvers on annual Corporate Income Tax preparation (e.g. providing the right input data),


• Prepare accounting information required for external audit (tax audits) and internal audit as directed


• Local AP accounts reconciliation (e.g. payroll, taxes, anticipated payments);


• Financial bookkeeping (non-tax invoices) and bank reconciliation (treasury).

Qualifications

ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

• University Degree in Accounting and Finance,


• 3 to 5 years of experience in an active accounting environment, preferably within a medium to large international company with a matrix business structure,


• Proficiency in spoken and written English (B2 or above) in addition to Portuguese,


• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, etc.),


• Experience using ERP platform (ideally Oracle, TOVTs Protheus).


• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills, with genuine attention to detail and evidence discipline.


• Good communication skills, able to engage with central teams, external providers and internal


• Autonomy, accountability and a collaborative mindset in a matrix organization.

NICE-TO-HAVE

• Working Professional accounting qualification (e.g. Certified Public Accountant, Association of Chartered Accountants, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, CRC),


• knowledge of Spanish for interaction across the LATAM region.
