Part-time, Contract (approx. 20 hours per week)

You could help an entire industry become more efficient with technology? At PickTrace, we are digitizing the agriculture industry in a big way, and that’s why we are looking for an Implementations Specialist to join our Implementations team.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager to join our team on a part-time basis (approximately 20 hours per week). The ideal candidate will be experienced in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Excel, and all core aspects of monthly accounting close processes.
This role will report directly to the Controller. This role will be fully remote.
What will you do
- Manage the full Accounts Receivable (AR) cycle: receive and process client agreements; generate and send 10–20 invoices weekly; maintain AR schedule and support collections (handle complex invoicing schedules).
- Oversee the full Accounts Payable (AP) cycle: receive and process vendor bills; route invoices for approval; dispute or follow up on payments when necessary (Bill.com experience preferred).
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations; assist with credit card and expense report reconciliation (15 corporate cards, 2 bank accounts).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Internal Operations, and other teams as needed.
Monthly
- Execute a timely and accurate month-end close (by the 18th of each month), including bank reconciliations, accruals and deferrals, depreciation and amortization schedules, expense reclassifications, and identification/analysis of revenue leakage.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements.
Who we are looking for
- Proficient in English (written and verbal).
- Proven experience in accounting and month-end close processes.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel; familiarity with Bill.com is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across teams.
Work schedule
- Approximately 20 hours per week.
- Availability required 3 times per week between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM Pacific Time during the initial ramp-up period.
- Post ramp-up: availability 1–2 times per week during the same hours.

- Manager - Accounting Advisory & Financial Reporting (Capital Markets) – role focuses on IFRS, US GAAP, and technical accounting matters, with Big Four/audit and advisory experience preferred; includes technical accounting advisory, financial reporting support, regulatory compliance, M&A support, cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, and client management skills. Required or in-progress CPA/CA and 7+ years of related experience; bilingual proficiency is a plus.
Qualifications & Experience (Manager roles)
- 7+ years of experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting, or external audit.
- Big Four or global advisory firm experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and other international frameworks.
- CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent certification required (or in progress).
- Exposure to multiple industries (e.g., SaaS, manufacturing, retail, infrastructure) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, or English is a plus.
