Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking to fill the position of a Security Flex Officer.

Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring metal detectors during shift changes, lunch, and breaks, ensuring procedures are followed by all team members.
• Enforcing metal detector procedures for visitors entering the distribution center.
• Guarding entrances and controlling traffic to and from the facility, inspecting inbound and outbound trailers and seals.
• Preventing unauthorized access and removal of products.
• Monitoring surveillance cameras and securing the premises inside and outside.
• Directing visitors and truck drivers, writing reports of daily activities and irregularities, and maintaining logs.
• Responding to emergencies, investigating incidents, and maintaining security reports.

The Security Flex Officer acts as a visible deterrent to crime, detects suspicious activity, and reports safety concerns to protect the property, clients, guests, and employees.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and adherence to AU Driver Policy Requirements
• Experience with Access Control/Badge systems
• Comfortable using computers or tablets
• Customer Service experience
• Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• State and local licensing requirements, if applicable
• Driving position: valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to operate a vehicle safely
• Background check and drug screening required
• Availability to work various shifts and locations, including weekends and holidays
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, climb stairs, and stand for long periods
