We're looking for a Security Engineer to be at the forefront of shaping a secure digital landscape for a leading tech company, directly influencing policy-making and cybersecurity strategy. Responsibilities

• Document incident response procedures and maintain security protocols
• Conduct regular security audits and prepare compliance reports
• Perform daily security monitoring and vulnerability assessments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; Security certification preferred
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
• Strong skills in threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, risk management, incident response, and knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001)
• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection solutions
• Proven experience with incident response, risk assessment, and understanding regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
• Remote working experience
• Minimal travel, primarily for team meetings or site assessments
• Flexible work schedule, preferably in EST time zone
• Experience with cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure) and DevSecOps practices is a plus
