Jobgether is seeking a Senior Scrum Master/Agile Project Manager for a fully remote role in Brazil. You will strengthen delivery discipline across 12 engineering teams, coach a cohort of Scrum Masters, and directly support two teams while turning Jira/GitHub activity into actionable insights.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years as Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in software development.
• Experience coaching Scrum Masters and supporting agile practices across multiple teams.

• Knowledge of scaled agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum@Scale, LeSS).

Responsabilidades

• Establish and maintain consistent Agile ceremonies and definitions across 12 teams.
• Coach 6–7 Scrum Masters and lead a community of practice.
• Resolve cross-team impediments and coordinate dependencies.
• Serve as Scrum Master for two teams, manage backlog and delivery flow.
• Own and evolve Agile Development Metrics & Quality framework using Jira and GitHub.
• Implement delivery metrics: velocity, sprint predictability, cycle/lead time, throughput.
• Develop code review quality metrics from GitHub PR activity.
• Maintain Jira defect taxonomy and reporting across dev, test, release, production.
• Trace escaped defects to stories/PRs and responsible authors.
• Lead release and quarterly accountability reporting with leadership.
• Administer BI layer (eazyBI or equivalent) connected to Jira/GitHub for dashboards.
• Ensure metrics are actionable, balanced, and workflow-derived.
• Act as Agile conduit between PM/PO and Engineering; translate roadmaps into execution.
• Apply scaled Agile approaches to support cross-team dependencies and backlog alignment.
• Facilitate PI planning, Scrum of Scrums, and cross-team dependency reviews.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Scrum Master/Project Manager based in Brazil.

This is a senior Agile leadership role focused on strengthening delivery discipline and consistency across a broad engineering organization. You will establish and continuously improve Agile standards across 12 teams while coaching a cohort of Scrum Masters and directly supporting two teams. The role combines hands‑on Scrum Master responsibilities with ownership of delivery, quality, and engineering performance metrics. You will turn Jira and GitHub activity into reliable insights that help technical and business leaders understand delivery health. Acting as a key bridge between Product Management, Product Owners, and Engineering, you will connect roadmap priorities with practical sprint execution. This is an opportunity to shape Agile ways of working at scale while remaining closely connected to day-to-day software delivery.

Accountabilities

• Establish and maintain consistent Agile ceremonies, operating standards, definitions of ready and done, estimation practices, cadences, and escalation processes across 12 teams.
• Coach and provide performance support to 6–7 Scrum Masters while facilitating a Scrum Master community of practice.
• Resolve cross-team delivery impediments and coordinate dependencies across the engineering portfolio.
• Serve as Scrum Master for two assigned teams, managing ceremonies, backlog hygiene, delivery flow, and impediment removal.
• Own and continuously evolve an Agile Development Metrics & Quality Accountability Framework using Jira and GitHub as primary systems of record.
• Implement and monitor delivery metrics including velocity, sprint predictability, cycle time, lead time, throughput, WIP, scope creep, and carryover rates.
• Develop code review quality metrics from GitHub pull request activity, including review cycles, rework, time in review, change-requested rates, and senior reviewer participation.
• Own Jira defect taxonomy and reporting across development, testing, code review, release, and production phases, including defect escape and containment metrics.
• Maintain traceability between escaped defects, originating stories or tasks, merged pull requests, and responsible authors or reviewers.
• Lead recurring release and quarterly team accountability reporting, reviewing trends and improvement areas with relevant teams and leadership.
• Administer eazyBI or an equivalent BI layer connected to Jira and GitHub to deliver recurring dashboards and reports without relying on a separate data pipeline.
• Ensure metrics remain actionable, balanced between speed and quality, trend-focused, diagnostic rather than target-driven, and passively generated from existing workflows.
• Act as the primary Agile conduit between Product Managers, Product Owners, and Engineering, translating roadmap priorities into coordinated execution.
• Apply scaled Agile approaches such as SAFe, Scrum@Scale, or equivalent frameworks to support cross-team dependencies, release planning, and backlog alignment.
• Facilitate program-level ceremonies including PI planning, Scrum of Scrums, and cross-team dependency reviews.
• Provide Product Management and Product Ownership with clear delivery and quality insights to support prioritization and roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager within a professional software development environment.
• Demonstrated experience coaching or leading other Scrum Masters and supporting Agile practices across multiple concurrent teams.
• Strong experience facilitating Agile ceremonies, delivery processes, cross-team coordination, and dependency management.
• Working knowledge of scaled Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum@Scale, or LeSS.
• Experience working closely with Product Management, Product Owners, and Engineering teams as a bridge between product strategy and technical delivery.
• Hands‑on proficiency administering Jira, including custom fields, workflows, sprint configuration, and board management.
• Working knowledge of GitHub pull request workflows, branch protection, and Jira–GitHub integration, including smart commits and related references.
• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and continuously improve delivery and quality measurement frameworks.
• Ability to translate technical delivery and engineering data into clear reporting and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and modern software development workflows.
