Uma escola renomada em Vinhedo, SP, está buscando um(a) Bibliotecário(a) Escolar apaixonado(a) por educação. O profissional auxiliará alunos e professores na busca de recursos na biblioteca, organizará atividades de leitura, e supervisionará o sistema de empréstimos. É requerido bacharel em Biblioteconomia e fluência em inglês. O candidato deve ter experiência de 3 a 5 anos e habilidades avançadas em Excel.

Who are we looking for?

Professionals passionate about education, who seek professional growth, are constantly improving, and wish to make a difference in the educational field.

As a School Librarian, you will:

• Assist students, teachers, and staff, guiding them in their search for information and resources within the library;
• Plan and organize activities that promote reading, such as book fairs, reading clubs, author visits, and story‑telling sessions;
• Develop projects that encourage library use and foster reading habits among students, adapting initiatives according to age groups and student interests;
• Supervise borrowing and returns system, ensuring that students and other users comply with deadlines and usage conditions;

Conduct training sessions on the use of research tools, digital platforms, and other informational resources available in the library.

Perform other duties inherent to the position.

Mandatory requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Library Science;
• Active registration with the Regional Council of Librarianship (CRB);
• Fluent in English;
• Advanced Excel skills.

Desirable requirements:

• Google for Education Certification;
• Experience in educational institutions.

Work hours:

Monday to Friday, from 7 : 15 a.m. to 5 : 15 p.m.
