Responsibilities
- The Opportunity: The Agribusiness Manager is responsible for ensuring and managing the required raw material volume directly from growers with the cost and quality required by PepsiCo in Brazil Business Unit. They will develop agricultural development plans for short, medium, and long term (5 to 15 years), guide the technical development of growers, agronomists, and related areas to ensure sustainability of agro supply, and be responsible for PSP, AOP, and Agro KPIs.
- Lead Sustainable Farm Program, Regenerative Agriculture agenda, and Agro Productivity Projects.
- Ensure Logistics Operations across the supply chain meet quality, quantity, and cost standards for a sustainable and efficient raw material supply.
- Lead the Storage Program, introducing new technologies, managing costs and waste, and aligning with the Agro Production Map and Plant Sites for long-term sustainability.
- Lead Digital Transformation and Innovation in the Agro Supply Chain aligned with the Digital Value Chain agenda.
- Oversee Potato Washing Stations, focusing on quality, food safety, and sustainability according to operational strategies.
Your Impact
- Develop and lead the Agribusiness Field and Supply Strategy to ensure operational continuity.
- Ensure compliance with supply development plans and set objectives for the team.
- Coordinate with inbound transport, supply planning, manufacturing, quality, R&D, and finance to deliver volume, service level, quality, and cost targets.
- Develop and oversee procurement plans for agricultural commodities.
- Strategize and manage Potato Storage to ensure efficient supply and minimize downtime.
- Define SLA for storage, transportation, and potato washing stations, and lead Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Lead Digital Transformation initiatives aligned with global agendas.
- Support productivity and process improvement projects across the Agro Supply Chain.
- Manage Change across the Agro Supply Chain from field to plants.
- Implement Grower Score Card and Strategic Plans for growers.
- Negotiate and design annual contracts ensuring raw material supply.
- Manage budgets for Agro Field, Supply, and Storage.
- Develop long-term supply strategies for Brazil growers and ensure sustainability policies are followed.
- Implement best practices to improve resource efficiency and align with global sustainability indicators.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and standards, including audits and regulations.
- Define long-term strategies for seed potato and varieties pipeline with relevant teams.
Qualifications
- Degree in Agriculture, Food Engineering, or related field; experience in similar roles in agriculture preferred.
- Master's degree or specialization in Agribusiness is desirable.
- Leadership, strategic planning, negotiation skills.
- Focus on people development.
- Proficiency in English (Advanced).
- Experience in Agronomy, Operations, and overall performance management.
- Knowledge of Agribusiness, Quality, Food Safety, and Operations management.
