Job Description:

Sales Specialists & Consultants are experts in products, services, software, or solutions responsible for leading pursuits in their focus areas. They collaborate with Account Managers, support the sales team with specialized expertise, and drive campaigns to build the pipeline. They prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities, possibly managing named accounts, covering specific geographies, or focusing on high-potential, competitive accounts.

This role applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues, often contributing to new ideas and methods. They handle complex problems requiring in-depth analysis, lead or support functional project teams, and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. They act as experts providing guidance on process improvements and policies, often representing the organization externally. They exercise significant independent judgment to achieve objectives and may mentor lower-level employees.

How you will make your mark:
  • Create and drive your sales pipeline, managing leads outside your specialization and ensuring follow-up.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors to position our products and services effectively.
  • Use your expertise to identify new opportunities and expand existing ones.
  • Support Account Managers with business development and solution expertise.
  • Develop quota objectives and future strategies for your product category.
  • Build professional relationships with clients, including up to the C-level, understanding their business needs.
  • Leverage external partners when appropriate.
  • For Services Consultants: Focus on growing contractual renewals, especially for complex, high-value accounts.
  • Coordinate supporting sales activities.
About you:
  • University degree or relevant work experience.
  • Proven achievement of higher quotas, diverse customer engagement, and high-level interactions.
  • Extensive experience in selling within the industry and similar products.
  • Typically 8-12 years of advanced sales experience.
  • Knowledge in cybersecurity and connectivity.
  • Project management skills.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies like SPIN and N.E.A.T.
  • 2-3 years of product sales in your specialty.
  • Advanced English skills.
  • Expertise in products, solutions, or services, including understanding competitors’ offerings.
  • Industry and market knowledge relevant to key accounts.
  • Ability to plan accounts and forecast revenue accurately.
  • Strong collaboration skills with management and sales teams.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships, including at the executive level.
  • Leadership and initiative in driving sales, prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Deep knowledge of products, solutions, and competitive landscape.
  • Proficiency with tools like Siebel for forecasting.
  • Understanding of high-value software and services sales.
  • Ability to leverage the company’s portfolio strategically.
  • Continuous industry trend awareness.
Impact/Scope:
  • Manage larger accounts, possibly leading projects and working with external partners.
  • Spend significant time directly with customers at all levels.
  • Develop business plans with clients.
  • Typically handle higher-than-average quotas.
