The Job holder participates to the operations of D&W by performing the following activities:
- Develop the processes in SAP to support D & W operations.
- Develop training modules and impart training to D & W users for the use of SAP tools.
- Act as the SAP focal point in D&W within COMPANY whenever necessary.
- Provide recommendation to IT-ERP team based on D&W feedback and business requirement.
- Monitors and reports the progress of work related to SAP tools in D&W. Generate reporting, alert users for nonconformance or delayed processes.
- Act as interface to related entities, follow up on integration activities between functional areas.
- Conduct root cause analysis of problems and implement appropriate actions and business improvements.
- Identify and suggest improvements in time and cost with the areas of responsibility, continuous learning.
- Co-ordinate the changes/updates in handling the roles and authorizations management.
- Coordinate in development of lean ways of working, develop reports, dashboards etc.
- Contribute to maintaining the D&W internal knowledge of SAP tools and partner entities within COMPANY by:
- Consolidating and documenting the experience, and know-how acquired in the performance of his/her duties.
- Developing the knowledge of existing SAP products and new technologies covering the areas of procurement, contracts, inventory.
- Identify skills, gaps and plan training for all support members to ensure that the levels of SAP competence are maintained.
- Liaise with other teams/departments who coordinate with D & W.
The Job holder manages the Compliance:
- Ensure compliance in the use of SAP tools with all internal company rules (including COMPANY Code to conduct) and all applicable laws and regulation.
- Take the necessary measures to avert immediate threat of danger.
