A leading company in IT solutions is seeking an experienced SAP SAM Functional Consultant for a 6-month remote contract. This role encompasses incident management and requires expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance processes and the SAM application. Qualificações

  • Extensive SAP PM and SAM experience is necessary.

Job Title: SAP SAM Functional Consultant
Job Type: 6-Month Contract
Job Location: Brazil (Remote)
Job Overview:
This role is responsible for investigating and resolving user incidents related to SAP’s Service and Asset Manager (SAM) application. This role would support users globally in countries speaking English and Portuguese.

  1. Monitor and manage incoming SAM-related incidents inServiceNow.
  2. Perform initial triage, root cause analysis, and resolution of user issues.
  3. Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  4. Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and user communications.
  5. Ensure incidents are resolved within defined SLAs and with high user satisfaction.
  6. Maintain knowledge base articles and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.
  7. Stay current with SAP SAM 2405 updates, patches, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. For those candidates without a bachelor’s degree, 10+ years of relevant experience is required.
  3. Extensive experience with SAP Plant Maintenance processes and SAM application.
  4. Experience using the ServiceNow platform for incident management.
  5. Strong understanding of SAP configuration and customization.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  9. Ability to manage customer requirements and scope discussions.
  10. Excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation communication skills.
  11. Highly organized.
  12. Ability to adapt to a continually changing business and work environment and manage multiple priorities.
  13. Demonstrated critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  14. Multilingual English and Portuguese a plus.
  15. Ability to take ownership of a problem and drive it to resolution.
