A leading technology company in Brazil seeks a Data Migration Architect responsible for developing and overseeing the S/4HANA migration strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP data migration and a deep understanding of transformation techniques. Strong leadership skills are essential to evaluate impacts and drive governance standards. Architect and govern the end‑to‑end S/4HANA data migration strategy, covering scope definition, data domain ownership, transformation rules, reconciliation methods and dependency sequencing.
Evaluate simplification impacts and structural changes across all SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, TM, HR, PS), defining architectural decisions that ensure data readiness for S/4HANA.
Define and enforce data governance standards, transformation patterns, validation rules, and quality gates across mock runs and final cutover.
Establish the architectural blueprint for:
Lead mock migrations and conversion dry‑runs, troubleshoot systemic inconsistencies, and coordinate resolution paths involving BASIS, ABAP, infrastructure and functional consultants.
Guide tool selection and architecture scenarios involving:
Actively participate in cutover planning, ensuring feasibility, sequence accuracy and alignment with business blackout windows.
Advise stakeholders and leadership teams with high‑level insights, risk identification and mitigation strategies.
